SIN-1, a NO donor shows similar patterns on viability and NO accumulation in microglia as LPS treatment. BV2 cells were incubated in increasing doses of SIN-1 for 24 hr. NO accumulation as determined by the Greiss reagent (A) increased in a dose dependent manner.
